Jackie Chan was in London on May 20, 2025, and then New York on May 27, 2025 for the promotion and premiere of ‘Karate Kid: Legends’ alongside actors Ben Wang and Ralph Macchio.

Jackie Chan will be presented with the prestigious award, Pardo alla Carriera at the Locarno Film Festival in August 2025.
The Pardo alla Carriera award, also known as the “Leopard Award”, is presented by Ascona-Locarno Tourism and pays tribute to personalities whose artistic contributions have redefined cinema and collective imagination.
On the evening of July 1, 2022, Jackie Chan attended the Hong Kong SAR 25th Handover Anniversary Grand Variety Show that was broadcast on TVB. Artists from Hong Kong and China also attended the celebration, including Nicholas Tse, William Chan, Andy Lau, Alan Tam, and many others. Jackie sang “Force of China”, followed by a finale performance singing “Ode to My Homeland”.
The second day of the Beijing Winter Olympics torch relay continue along the Great Wall, with Jackie Chan and Olympic medallists as torch-bearers of the Olympic flame, which will be travelling through a shortened 3 day route to Birds Nest Stadium for the opening ceremony on February 4, 2022.
Enduring cold temperatures of -11 degrees Celsius, Jackie carried the torch along a leg of Badaling. Later, the relay of the flame will continue to neighbouring Hebei province where the majority of the Olympic snow events will take place, before making its way to the Olympic cauldron on Friday for the opening ceremony.
On Wednesday May 5th, Jackie attended the Dragon Boat Performance Event demonstration in support of the Dragon Boat competition in becoming an official Olympic Games event. He was also honoured as the Dragon Boat Ambassador and the Olympic Dragon Boat Performance Event Ambassador.

On February 9, 2021, Jackie appeared on Shandong Satellite Television’s Spring Festival program, singing “Nan’er Dang Zi Qiang” 《男儿当自强》.
On October 25, 2019, Jackie Chan was honored with the Albert R. Broccoli Award for Worldwide Contribution to Entertainment at the British Academy Britannia Awards ceremony in Los Angeles.
The award was presented by Vin Diesel, and other honorees for the evening included Steve Coogan, Normal Lear, Jordan Peele, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
The first Britannia Award was presented in 1989 to Albert R. Broccoli, pioneer producer of the James Bond Films. The ceremony has now expanded to include multiple presentations celebrating living legends, rising British stars and internationally acclaimed colleagues.

On September 7, 2019, Jackie Chan took part in a charity movement to help eliminate poverty in China. Last month, Jackie was in Datong; this month, Jackie visited Huai’an in Hebei. Together with actors Deng Chao, Zhang Nanxin and Jiang Luxia, Jackie visited the local impoverished villages and personally experienced what they do each day by working on the farm, harvesting the rice stalks, hulling the grains, separating the seeds and shaking the kernels.
Jackie hopes to help raise awareness and eliminate poverty in China.
