On September 26, 2018, Jackie Chan was presented with 2 music awards at the “Shanghai’s People Republic LOVE Radio Station – Best Music Awards Ceremony”. Jackie received a ‘Best Song Award’ for the remix of “Ming Ming Bai Bai Wo De Xin” (明明白白我的心 – theme song for Kung Fu Yoga), and was honored with the ‘Most Outstanding and Influential Persons Award’.

While receiving the award, Jackie expressed how winning an award for singing is not easy, “I’ve been making films for over 50 years; singing for nearly 30 years. I’ve received many film related awards, but honestly not many for singing. Today, winning an award for “Ming Ming Bai Bai Wo De Xin” (明明白白我的心) has given me confidence that hard work and perseverance pays off. I never imagined that this song, composed by Jonathan Lee while humming this simple yet catchy melody in the toilet 27 years ago, has been re-sung many times over the years.”
